The play concerns a man who is faced with the excruciating choice between honoring his dying wife's final wish to keep her body alive or to cave into emotional blackmail inflicted by their daughter. Walsh-Smith's other plays include Bonkers and Addicitons.

Strauss' stage credits include Einstein and the Polar Bear, Chinese Friends, and Sabina (which co-starred Ireland). He won an Emmy Award for The Jericho Mile and was nominated for Rich Man, Poor Man and Masada. Robins' Broadway credits include Heartbreak House, Frozen, and The Herbal Bed. Ireland has starred Off-Broadway in The Ruby Sunrise, Manuscript, and Far Away.
