Kathleen Chalfant, Kate Mulgrew, and Marian Seldes will participate in The Shakespeare Society's presentation, History Girls, to take place at 6:30pm on Monday, February 12 at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (Park Avenue and 68th Street).

Actors Christopher Evan Welch and Joe Plummer will also take part in the evening, and commentary will be provided by Dympna Callaghan, a professor at Syracuse University and editor of The Feminist Companion to Shakespeare. The evening will focus on three real-life women portrayed by Shakespeare: Constance in King John, Elizabeth in Richard III, and Margaret in Henry VI, Part 3 and Richard III.

Chalfant's many stage credits include Wit, Great Expectations, and Angels in America. Mulgrew will return to Off-Broadway in Manhattan Theatre Club's Our Leading Lady next month. Her other stage credits include Black Comedy and Tea at Five, and she is well known for the television series Star Trek: Voyager and Ryan's Hope. Seldes won the Tony Award for A Delicate Balance and will return to Broadway this spring in Terrence McNally's new play Deuce opposite Angela Lansbury.

Limited tickets are available at $15 and $25. To order or for more information, call 212-722-4448 or visit www.shakespearesociety.org.
