Lizan Mitchell and Roscoe Orman will star in Stephanie Berry’s The Last Fall, to run April 15 – May 2 at Crossroads Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ. Lynda Gravatt will direct the production.

The play focuses on two fifty-somethings — Rhea, an urban school teacher, and Neville, a Trinidad-born taxi driver — as they mature in life and love while facing difficult truths.

Orman is perhaps best known for playing Gordon Robinson on television’s Sesame Street. Among his stage credits are The Talented Tenth, The Party on Greenwich Avenue and The Sixteen Round, in addition to productions of Julius Caesar and Coriolanus at the Public Theater.

Mitchell appeared on Broadway in So Long on Lonely Street. Her other stage credits include productions of Trojan Women, Living in the Wind, Gum and for colored girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is enuf, in addition to productions of Having Our Say. Her film and television credits include The Preacher’s Wife, Criminal Intent, and All My Children.
