Jeanie O’Hare to Be Yale’s New Playwriting Chair
Jeanie O’Hare has been appointed as the new Chair of the Department of Playwriting for the Yale School of Drama. She will begin her three-year term in the position on July 1, 2012.
O’Hare has served as the company dramaturg for the Royal Shakespeare Company since 2005. Prior to her work at the RSC, she served as Literary Manager for Hampstead Theatre for four years, and worked for seven seasons in the artistic and literary offices of the Royal Court Theatre.
