Jeff Daniels, a recent Tony nominee for God of Carnage, will star in his one-man show Onstage & Unplugged at The Purple Rose Theatre Company (the Chelsea, Michigan-based theater where he is executive director), August 26-29.

A prolific songwriter as well as an actor and playwright, Daniels performs solo with blues guitar and an arsenal of songs that are alternately humorous and poignant. The addition of this event has necessitated the shortening of PRTC's current production, the world premiere of Wake by Carey Crim, which will now close one week earlier on August 22.
