John Logan, Robert Lopez, Jessica Walter, et al. Receive Annie Award Nominations

Stage veterans Scott Adsit, Judy Greer and Jessica Walter are nominees for the 39th annual Annie Awards, which honor excellence in animation, in the category of Voice Acting in a Television Production. In addition, Bill Nighy has been nominated in the Voice Acting in a Feature Production category.

Other nominees include Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who along with Zooey Deschannel and Henry Jackman are nominees in the Music in a Feature Production category for their work on Winnie The Pooh; and Valerie Vigoda and Brendan Milburn, along with Joel McNelly, have been nominated in the Music in a Television Production for Pixie Hollow Games.

Among the nominees for the Best Animated Feature is Rongo, which has also garnered a nomination for its writers, Tony Award winner John Logan, as well as Gore Verbinski and James Byrkit. The other nominated features are A Cat in Paris, Arrugas (Wrinkles), Arthur Christmas, Cars 2, Chicao & Rita, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss in Boots, Rio and Tintin.
