Neil Dickson will star in Stephan Wyatt’s The Standard Bearer, to run October 19 – November 12 at the Stephanie Feury Studio (SFS) Theatre. Julian Sands will direct the production.
The one-man show focuses on a performer who takes Shakespeare on the road to local communities in Africa and is forced to confront his very existence.
Dickson recently performed in LATW’s presentation of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. Among his film and television credits are Eat the Rich, King of the Wind, She-Wolf of London, Gargoyles, and Mad Men.
Sandsis best known as an actor, with credits including the film A Room with a View and the recent A Celebration of Harold Pinter, directed by John Malkovich at the Edinburgh Festival.
