Martin McDonagh to Write and Direct Seven Psychopaths Film

Martin McDonagh will write and direct the film Seven Psychopaths, according to Deadline.com.


The website reports that the film will star Colin Farrell, as a struggling screenwriter who gets drawn into the dognapping escapades of his friends, to played by Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken.


McDonagh was most recently represented on Broadway by A Behanding In Spokane, starring Rockwell and Walken, and his many other plays include The Pillowman, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, and The Beauty Queen of Leenane.


He directed the feature film In Bruges, starring Farrell, and the short film Six Shooter, for which he won an Academy Award.
