The Blank Theatre has announced its 2011-2012 season.
The schedule begins with Stephen Belber’s look at a chance meeting in adulthood between two high school friends, Dusk Rings a Bell (October 1-November 13). Daniel Henning will direct this production.
Also on tap on is the world premiere of Jon Marans’ The Cost of the Erection (February 4-March 18), a look at what happens when a woman, going through a rough patch with her architect husband, forces the older man into a competition with a younger hotshot architect to see which man will design her new apartment,
The Blank’s season will also include a production of David Sedaris’ The Santaland Diaries (November 19-December 18), directed by Michael Matthews, and Michael John LaChiusa’s off-kilter look at two young nurses whose world goes awry, Sukie and Sue: Their Story (April 7-May 20), directed by Kirsten Sanderson.
