Stephen Collins to Join Sean Hayes, Jane Lynch, et al. in Three Stooges Movie

Stephen Collins has joined the cast of the new Three Stooges movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Peter and Bobby Farrelly are directing the project. Collins is set to play the movie’s villain.
The movie will also star the previously announced Sean Hayes, as Larry Fine, Will Sasso as Curly, and Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, as well as Jane Lynch, who will play the Mother Superior in the orphanage where the trio are raised.
Collins’ Broadway credits include Moonchildren, The Ritz and Monty Python’s Spamalot. Among his Off-Broadway credits are the Sondheim revue Putting It Together and Twelfth Night, for the Public’s Shakespeare in the Park. He may be best known for his work on such television shows as No Ordinary Family, Private Practice, Sisters, and 7th Heaven.
