IFC Films has acquired the rights to distribute the film adaptation of Mike Birbiglia’s Sleepwalk With Me, according to Variety.
The film is based on Birbiglia’s solo show of the same name, for which he received Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle nominations. It is directed by Birbiglia and features a script co-written by him with Joe Birbiglia, Seth Barrish and Ira Glass.
Lauren Ambrose co-stars in the film as Birbiglia’s girlfriend, with the cast also including Carol Kane, James Rebhorn, and Cristin Milioti.
