Memorial for Late Producer Joan Stein to Be Held in October

A memorial service for late producer Joan Stein will be held on Monday, October 8 at the Brentwood Theatre in Los Angeles. Stein died of appendiceal cancer at the age of 59 on August 3.
Stein’s many producing credits include The Nerd, Catch Me If You Can, Legally Blonde, Standing On Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays, and Side Man, for which she won a Tony Award. She served as the managing director of the Berkshire Theatre Festival in the 1980s before moving to Los Angeles.
