The series centers on Tom (played by Chris O'Dowd) who begins exploring his heritage after receiving a mysterious box from a relative he'd never met.

Begley is currently starring in the Mark Taper Forum production of David Mamet's November. McKean recently appeared on Broadway in Gore Vidal's The Best Man. Both actors – along with another recurring cast member, Fred Willard – have appeared in several other Guest projects such as For Your Consideration, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show and This is Spinal Tap.
