IAMA Theatre Company has announced plans for the 2012 season, its first under the leadership of new artistic director Becca Wolff.

The season will begin with the world premiere of Shiner by Christian Durso, a wry and nostalgic portrait of teenage love and loss in the 1990s, to open September 15 at the Working Stage Theatre. Neil Patrick Stewart will direct a cast that includes IAMA members Graham Sibley and Laila Ayad.

As the season continues, Keliher Walsh will direct IAMA members Amy Rosoff and Dean Chekvala in Louise Munson’s Do Like the Kids Do, a comedy about a brother and sister struggling to connect, opening November 9 at the Working Stage Theatre. The season will come to a close in early 2013 with 60 Miles to Silverlake, Dan LeFranc’s play about a father driving his son to soccer practice and what it means to grow up, directed by Becca Wolff.
