Pavel Cerny to Premiere Three Sisters or Perestroika at Whitefire Theatre

Orpheum Theater Corporation will present Three Sisters or Perestroika, a world premiere adaptation by Pavel Cerny of the classic play by Anton Chekhov. Cerny will direct the production at the Whitefire Theatre, May 1-June 12.

In this adaptaion, one of the sisters is a lesbian, and matter-of-fact about it. Also, one of the men in their circle is Jewish.

The cast will include Don Baldaramos, Nic d’Avirro, Mark Deliman, David Gerard, Angela Grillo, Andrew Hernon, Kelly Kemp, John Klopping, Olga Konstantulakis, Mark Leland, Evelyn Lorena, Kyle Maloney, Noelle Messier, and Kevin J. Ryan.

The production will feature costume design by Sheyla Kundera, set design by Walter Ulasinski, and sound design by Charles Maynes.
