Emily Bergl, Michael Gladis, Kate Jennings Grant, Reg Rogers, et al. Set for SCR’s Pacific Playwrights Festival

South Coast Rep has announced preliminary casting and the directors for the five plays that will receive staged readings as part of its Pacific Playwrights Festival, running April 23-25.
Tony Award winner Doug Hughes will direct Right to the Top, by Amy Freed, which will feature Jane Carr, Mark Harelik, Reg Rogers, Susannah Schulman, and Kate Jennings Grant.
Matthew Humphreys, Mandy Siegfried, and Kristen Bush will appear in Itamar Moses’ Completeness, to be directed by Pam McKinnon.
Sam Gold will stage Bathsheba Doran’s Kin, which will have a cast that includes Emily Bergl, Michael Gladis, Hal Landon, Jr., Richard Doyle, Jenny O’Hara, Laura Heisler, Sarah Rafferty, and Barbara Tarbuck.
Art Manke will direct David West Read’s Happy Face, with Wyatt Fenner, Rebecca Mozo, Tracy A. Leigh, and Peter Katona.
Casey Stangl will stage Sofia Alvarez’s Between Us Chickens, featuring Fiona Dourif, Nick Mills, and Liz Vital.
