Keira Knightley, Elisabeth Moss to Star in Ian Rickson’s Revival of The Children’s Hour Starting January 22

Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss will star in a West End revival of Lillian Hellman’s The Children’s Hour, to be directed by Ian Rickson, which will play the West End’s Comedy Theatre, January 22-April 2. Additional casting is still to be announced.

Hellman’s play focuses on the events that transpire after a troubled teenager starts to spin a web of deceit about two teachers at an all-girls boarding school.

Knightley was last on stage in The Misanthrope. Her film credits include the Pirates of the Caribbean, Never Let Me Go, Bend It Like Beckham, Love Actually, Pride and Prejudice, AtonementThe Duchess, Last Night, and the forthcoming London Boulevard and A Dangerous Method.

Moss made her Broadway debut in Speed-the-Plow. Among her other television and film credits are Mad Men, The West Wing, Get Him to the Greek, Did You Hear About the Morgans? and Girl, Interrupted, as well as the forthcoming On the Road and Darling Companion.
