Complete details have been released for the new CD Standing Ovation – A CD Tribute to the Dress Circle, to be released in the U.K. on August 17. Proceeds from the sale of the disc will benefit the financially endangered West End theatre shop Dress Circle.
Among the songs on the 18-track recording is a new song by Danny Davies and Pete Gallagher, “Shine on Down,” performed by Davies and Gallagher, along with by Daniel Boys and David Berkovitch. The disc also features “I’ll Bring You a Song,” written and performed by Shona White.
The disc also features performances by Julie Atherton, Stephen Ashfield, Gemma Atkins, Samantha Barks, John Barr, Elliot Davis, Jonathan Eio, Shimi Goodman, Ruthie Henshall, Ramin Karimloo, Stuart Matthew Price, Lara Pulver, Jon Robyns, Jack Shalloo, Patrick Smyth, and Stephen Weller.
