Harry Potter‘s Jessie Cave to Star in London Production of Mary Rose

Jessie Cave will play the title role in J.M. Barrie’s Mary Rose, to be presented by DogOrange Theatre at Studio 3, Riverside Studios, March 28-April 28. Matthew Parker will direct.

The play is set in a Sussex manor house where a ghost keeps watch, yearning for the return of her beloved boy. The production will feature original music composed by Maria Haik Escudero and performed live.

The cast will also include Joanna Watt, Charlie Kerson, Nicholas Hoad, Phil Bishop, Alec Gray, Sally Preston, Philippa George, Ariel Harrison and Maya Thomas, with more to be announced.

The production will feature set design by Cherry Truluck, lighting design by Gary Bowman, sound design by Mike Thacker and Andy Graham, and costume design by Penelope Watson.

Cave is best known for her role as Lavender Brown in several of the Harry Potter films. She performed the role of Thomasina in a West End revival of Arcadia, and won an Off-West End stage award for her performance in Lou Ramsden’s Breed.
