Janie Dee to Replace Caroline O'Connor in Curve Theatre's Hello, Dolly!

Janie Dee will replace the previously announced Caroline O'Connor in the Curve Theatre, Leicester's production of Hello, Dolly!, according to published reports. O'Connor has bowed out of the production, which runs November 30-January 12, due to a commitment to another project.

Paul Kerryson directs the classic musical, which features a score by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart, and is based on the Thornton Wilder play The Matchmaker. Hello, Dolly! will feature choreography by David Needham and designs by Sara Perks.

Also cast in the production are Laura Pitt-Pulford (Irene Molloy), Jason Denton (Barnaby Tucker), Keisha Atwell (Ermengarde) and Simon Donovan (Ambrose Kemper). Additional casting and information will be announced.

Dee's stage credits include All's Well That Ends Well, Calendar Girls, Woman in Mind, Mack and Mabel, Carousel, and many others.
