Mary Byrne, Russell Grant, and Rhydian Roberts to Alternate as Teen Angel in UK Grease Tour
Mary Byrne, Russell Grant, and Rhydian Roberts will alternate in the role of Teen Angel and sing “Beauty School Dropout” in the next leg of the UK tour of Grease.
X-Factor star Byrne will play the role in Newcastle (July 3-7) and Eastbourne (August 20-25). Grant, the astrologer and Strictly Come Dancing favorite, will be seen in Newcastle (July 9-14), Llandudno (August 6-11), Dartford (August 27-September 1), Southsea (October 1-6), Manchester (October 8-13), Wimbledon (October 15-20), and Swansea (November 5-10). Roberts, also an X-Factor star and recording artist, will be seen in Southend (July 30-August 4) and Bournemouth (August 13-18).
The cast of the tour is led by Danny Bayne and Carina Gillespie as Sandy. It also includes Kate Somerset How (Rizzo), David O’Reilly (Roger), Laura Wilson (Jan), Richard Vincent (Doody), Josh Dever (Sonny), Darren John (Eugene), Stuart Reid (Vince Fontaine), Ross William Wild (Kenickie), Lauren Hood, (Frenchy), Scarlett Davies (Marty), Charlotte Gooch (Patty), Emma Kingston (Miss Lynch) and Emily Hawgood (Cha Cha).
