Blue Man Group to Hold Open Auditions for New "Showbot" Character for Las Vegas Production

The Blue Man Group will hold open auditions for a character called “Showbot,” to appear in the group’s newest production, running October 10-April, 2013 at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Auditions for the female character will be held inside Monte Carlo’s Ballrooms 3 and 4 from 10am-4pm on Thursday, August 9. The production is asking for physically fit female performers with a height of 5’3″ – 5’5″ and experience working in physical theater.

The new show features electrifying music, sensational technology, and an interactive audience experience. Co-created with 3D designer Michael Curry, it promises to be a unique celebration of art, technology, and music.

The Blue Man Group was founded by Chris Wink, Phil Stanton, and Matt Goldman and has entertained over 25 million people worldwide.
