Synopsis:
Throughout his impressive career, Mark Morris has been inspired by Baroque music to create many of his richest theatrical expressions. This acclaimed production offers a rare opportunity to rediscover Purcell and to experience "a witty, whimsical, mesmerizing, and meltingly beautiful entertainment" (The Times, London). The eminent Isaac Mizrahi provides the wonderfully wild array of costumes.
