09' CAPITAL FRINGE FESTIVAL July 9 to 26

This year you will find us nestled between two historic DC neighborhoods: Penn Quarter and Mount Vernon Square. We have taken up residency in some interesting spaces: a former cigar shop that has been vacant since the 1968 riots, a German cultural institute, an old restaurant, a historic church and a long-standing, independent performance venue.

Come explore our centralized and unique Festival scene.

Come and laugh, cry, clap, dance, make a fist or two, hug, make a new friend and brush away your troubles.

We are here to show you that DC is more than a municipality filled with institutions that import artists to exhibit or bring down last year's broadway hit. We are here to show you that DC is a city filled with innovators.
