Raven Theatre Announces Cast for Hedda Gabler

Raven Theatre has announced casting for its production of Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler, to play Raven Theatre’s East Stage, April 28-June 27, with an opening set for May 3. Michael Menendian will direct.

Seen in an adaptation by Jon Robin Baitz, the play concerns the motherless daughter of the controlling General Gabler, who is determined to live gloriously, and will stop at nothing to ensure her security, rarely being true to anyone other than herself.

The cast will star Mackenzie Kyle in the title role, with Ian Novak (George Tesman), Ian Paul Custer (Eilert Lovborg), Jon Steinhagen (Judge Brack), Symphony Sanders (Mrs. Elvsted), JoAnn Montemurro (Miss Tesman), and Claudia Garrison (Berta).

The creative team will include Leif Olsen (composer), Andrei Onegin (scenic designer), JoAnn Montemurro (costume designer), Christine Ferriter (lighting designer), and Katherine Chavez (sound designer).
