Broadway's Kinky Boots Welcomes Todrick Hall and Celebrates 1,500 Performances

The musical is written by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein.

The Broadway production of Kinky Boots hit a double milestone on November 15. The Tony-winning musical celebrated its 1,500th performance at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre and also officially welcomed Todrick Hall, who takes on the role of Lola through March 5. Hall began his run on November 1.

Inspired by the 2005 British film of the same title, Kinky Boots features a Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Harvey Fierstein. The musical tells the story of Charlie Price, the owner of a failing shoe factory who realizes that a sassy drag queen named Lola has the key to the business' success.

The current Broadway cast of Kinky Boots includes Alan Mingo, Jr. (as Lola), Aaron C. Finley (as Charlie Price), Haven Burton (as Lauren), Daniel Stewart Sherman, Shannon O’Boyle, Marcus Neville, Nick Rashad Burroughs, Sean Patrick Doyle, Kevin Smith Kirkwood, Fred Odgaard, Kyle Post, Hernando Umana, Adinah Alexander, Eugene Barry-Hill, Stephen Berger, Devin Trey Campbell, Christopher Convery, Alfred DalPino, Holly Davis, Jesus Del Orden, Mia Gentile, Blair Goldberg, Natalie Joy Johnson, Jake Katzman, Jeff Kuhr, Ross Lekites, Eric Leviton, Ellyn Marie Marsh, John Jeffrey Martin, Michael Milkanin, Nathan Peck, Robert Pendilla, Stephen Tewksbury, and Timothy Ware.
