The stars of Broadway's Something Rotten! celebrated the show's brand-new cast recording with a concert and autograph signing at the 86th Street Barnes and Noble on July 16. Directed by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw, the show features music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick.

A tribute to musical theater, Something Rotten! is set in 1590s England and follows Nick and Nigel Bottom, a pair of brothers desperate to write a play, but they're stuck in the shadow of William Shakespeare. When they're told by a local soothsayer that the future of theater involves singing, dancing, and acting at the same time, they set out to write the world's first musical.

On hand for the signing were cast members Brian d’Arcy James, Christian Borle, John Cariani, Heidi Blickenstaff, Brad Oscar, Kate Reinders, and Brooks Ashmanskas.
