Marco Zunino will make his Broadway debut as Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago the Musical, at the Ambassador Theatre, January 16-February 12, 2012. He replaces Brent Barrett, who is playing the role through January 15.

Zunino is a native of Lima, Peru, and has starred in Latin American productions of Jesus Christ Superstar as Jesus, West Side Story as Tony, Rent as Roger, and Cabaret, as the Emcee. In 2013, he will star as Peter Allen in the first-ever Latin American production of The Boy from Oz.

Chicago features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. Walter Bobbie has directed the Broadway revival, which is choreographed by Ann Reinking.

The cast also currently stars Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Bahiyah Hibah as Velma Kelly, Chris Sullivan as Amos Hart and Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton. As previously announced, Raymond Bokhour will portray Amos from December 19 through January 1.
