Rick Elice’s Peter and the Starcatcher will begin performances on March 28 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. As previously reported, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, who helmed the show’s original incarnation at New York Theatre Workshop, will once again direct the piece, which will officially open on April 15.

Based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, the show, which features original music and songs by Wayne Barker, will feature a company of twelve actors playing some 50 characters, all on a journey to answer the century-old question: How did Peter Pan become The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up? Casting will be announced in the near future.

The creative team from the original Off-Broadway production will reunite for Broadway and will be comprised of Donyale Werle (scenic design), Paloma Young (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design) and Darron L. West (sound design). In addition, Marco Pagula will once again serve as music director and movement will be by Steven Hoggett.
