Full casting and creative team information has been announced for the Merrimack Repertory Theatre production of The Fantasticks, October 16-November 9, with direction by Jonathan Silverstein, and musical direction by John Bell.

Written by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, the musical is based on Les Romanesques by Edmond Rostand, and tells the story of a young boy and girl who fall in love at the hands of their meddling fathers, but soon grow restless and stray from one another. The cast will star Piper Goodeve as Luisa, Nick Mannix as Matt, David Villella as El Gallo, and feature Ira Denmark as Bellomy, Charles H. Hyman as Henry, Dane Knell as Mortimer, Dale Radunz as Hucklebee, and Christopher Sheehan as Mute.

The creative team includes Josh Bradford (lighting design), Antje Ellermann (scenic design), Meron Langsner (movement specialist), Theresa Squire (costume design), and Jason Weber (sound design).
