Stephen Schwartz to Perform at A.R.T. Ever After Gala

Broadway composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz will perform at the A.R.T. Ever After gala, to be held at The Plaza Castle on Monday, February 13 at 6:30pm. Jared Bowen of WGBH will serve as emcee.

This second annual Valentine’s event has a fairytale theme, with the Castle transformed into a wooded forest where guests will mingle with story book characters. The evening will include the presentation of awards to director David Wheeler and community volunteer Joan Parker.

Schwartz is currently represented on Broadway by his musicals Wicked and Godspell, and he is writing the music and lyrics for the previously reported Houdini, which will arrive on Broadway in the 2013/2014 season, starring Hugh Jackman.
