Washington, D.C.'s Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced the return of Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience — A Parody by Dan and Jeff. After joining the theater's 2013-14 season, Potted Potter will enjoy a three-week return engagement in the Company’s Lansburgh Theatre from May 30-June 21.

Written and performed by two-time Olivier Award-nominated actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the show condenses all seven books in the Harry Potter series into a 75-minute comedy. Potted Potter had a record-breaking run at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre, as well as two separate off-Broadway runs at the the Little Shubert Theater. The show has also performed in London, Edinburgh, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Dubai.

The production is described as follows:

"Whether you camped outside a bookstore for three days awaiting the release of the Deathly Hallows, or you don’t know the difference between a horcrux and a Hufflepuff, the comedy, magic and mayhem of Potted Potter makes for a fun, and funny, visit to the theater — perfect for ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed)."
