The Washington, D.C., venue has announced its upcoming lineup.
The Kennedy Center today announced programming for its 2017-18 theater season.
The 2017-18 lineup includes the touring productions of The Book of Mormon (October 24-November 19); An American in Paris (December 12-January 7); The Illusionists (December 27-January 7); The Humans (January 9-28); On Your Feet! (January 9-28); Hamilton (June 12-September 16); and The Color Purple (July 31-August 26).
Also on tap are Gobsmacked! featuring beatboxer Ball-Zee (November 24-26); the Second City’s Twist Your Dickens (December 5-31); a stage adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's Private Confessions, directed by original star Liv Ullmann (December 6-9); Taylor Mac's A 24-Decade History of Popular Music (1776–2016) (March 6); and Ivo van Hove's production of After the Rehearsal and Persona (April 19-22).
