Hunter Foster and Elena Shaddow to Costar in The Music Man at the Muny

The Bridges of Madison County castmates will reunite in St. Louis.

Elena Shaddow, who originated the role of Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County at Williamstown Theatre Festival, will play Marian Paroo in The Music Man at the Muny.

The Muny has announced complete casting for its upcoming production of The Music Man, directed by Rob Ruggiero, choreographed by Chris Bailey, and music-directed by James Moore.

As previously announced, Tony nominee Hunter Foster will star as Harold Hill, with Mark Linn-Baker as Mayor Shinn, Nancy Anderson as Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn, and Liz McCartney as Mrs. Paroo.

Foster's former Bridges of Madison County castmate Elena Shaddow will star opposite him as Marian Paroo, joined by Elizabeth Ann Berg (Ethel Toffelmeir), Greta Clark (Amaryllis), J.D. Daw (Jacey Squires), Adam Halpin (Edward Dunlop), Owen Hanford (Winthrop Paroo), Hannah Kiem (Maud Dunlop), Ben Nordstrom (Oliver Hix), Michael James Reed (Charlie Cowell), April Strelinger (Alma Hix), Todd Buonopane (Marcellus Washburn), Colby Dezelick (Tommy Djilas), Halli Toland (Zaneeta Shinn), and Joseph Torello (Olin Britt).

The company will also include Kelly Berman, Allison Broadhurst, Beth Crandall, Randall Dodge, Meghan Faddis, Gary Glasgow, Julie Hanson, Lynn Humphrey, Phillip Johnson-Richardson, Audrey Kennedy, Alex Larson, Barbara McCulloh, Jessie Peltier, Tim Schall, Curtis Schroeger, Luke Steinhauer, James Stevko, Daryl Tofa, Chaz Wolcott, and Rebecca Young, along with the Muny kid and teen youth ensembles.

The creative team will feature scenic design by Michael Schweikardt, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by John Lasiter, sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Rob Denton, and wig design by Leah J. Loukas.

Performances will run from July 5-11.
