Gyan Riley

Hailed by Guitar Magazine as a genius for both his performing and compositional abilities, Gyan Riley received a recording contract for his debut DC of original works (Food for the Bearded) while still a full scholarship student at San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 1999. A strong presence in the worlds of guitar and contemporary music, he has toured internationally and appears regularly with the Los Angeles-based Falla Guitar Trio, the Feinsmith Quartet, and his father, the noted composer/pianist Terry Riley. His Kravis Center program features a mix of traditional and new repertoire for solo guitar.
