The Drum is the Thunder, the Flute is the Wind

The Drum is the Thunder, the Flute is the Wind features a variety of dance numbers, multi-media pieces of historical compilations from Kevin Locke’s home on Standing Rock reservation, as well as a flute tribute inspired by Native American music. Each dance and music selection is placed in a narrative context, which gives the audience an authentic feeling as to where the music and culture come from. The performance is most commonly known for Kevin’s world-renowned hoop-dance.
