Lonely Planet revolves around the friendship of two men, Jody and Carl, as they struggle in their battle with AIDS. Carl intravenously forces truth and reality into the hollowed meaningless life of Jody. Carl chooses to harvest life day to day rather than suffering the slow death of denial. Their stories and imaginations take them on many journeys all providing the means to cope with inevitably cascading towards an impending collision.
