Chic Street Man

Seattle Repertory Theatre will be hosting Chic Street Man in a unique solo performance. He performed at Seattle Rep in Spunk (for which he wrote the music); in It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues (which he helped develop); and most recently as Slow Drag in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Chic’s music transcends cultural and attitudinal barriers, bringing home his message of racial harmony and ethnic diversity through acoustic bluesy ballads, funky rhythms and jazzy upbeat originals.
