New York City
Robin Hood, by David Richmond, is set in Medieval England during the time of the crusades. King Richard the Lion Hearted has left his country in the hands of his younger brother John. Under John’s unsteady hand, England is at odds. The Norman Nobles, under the leadership of the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham, are unfairly taxing their Saxon neighbors, threatening violence and destruction if they are unable to pay the outrageous fees. Beth Peterson directs this presentation co-presented by Theater Schmeater and the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival.
