Travel back in time to the era of neon, teased hair, and shoulder pads as the American Pops interpret the popular music of the 1980s. This totally rad original program combines DJ mixing, a live orchestra, dancers, and hot vocalists to bring back music of the 1980s in a whole new way. Performers lead the party and get audience members into the groove like it’s 1989. The show features Patrice Covington (Broadway’s The Color Purple), Warren Freeman (My Fair Lady), Justin Keyes (Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), DJ Shea Van Horn (MixTape), Bayla Whitten (Girlstar), and a cast of talented dancers.
