February 11 – 12: Costa Rica’s Teatro Nuestro performs two one act comedies by Alberto Cañas and Samuel Rovinski, Naturaleza Muerta con Violin (Still Life with Violin) and Un Trágico Tico a Pesar Suyo (A Costa Rican Tragedian In Spite of Himself) – for ages 15 and up
February 15 – 16: The Dominican Republic’s Tibai Teatro performs Maria Isabel Bosh and Jorge Merzari’s Las Viajeras (Betrayal) – for ages 15 and up
February 18 – 19: Chile’s La Rueda Coja presents the ensemble piece Muertos de Amor (Death by Love) a comedic pantomime for the entire family
February 22 – 23: Argentina’s Grupo Kill Bob mounts its family musical comedy Reviú – Canciones Cuadro por Cuadro (Review – Songs Scene by Scene) for the entire family
February 25 – 26: Spain’s Azar Teatro from Castilla León performs Ñaque’ o de piojos y actors (Thespians or Of Lice and Actors) – for ages 15 and up
March 4 – 5: Costa Rica’s Teatro La Plea presents El Immigrante (The Immigrant) by César Meléndez. – for ages 15 and up.
March 9 – 10: Spain’s Compañia el Negro y el Flaco of Cataluña will offer Alquimia (Alchemy) by Rafa Espada and Gerardo Casali at the Instituto de Mexico on 16th Street NW. A family show.
