From the very first, Roberta Flack captured audiences with hits like “Killing Me Softly with His Song” and “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” Now, Washington’s home girl is back to put her own twist on classics from John, Paul, George, and Ringo!

From “The Long and Winding Road” to “Here Comes the Sun,” Roberta brings her “soulful balladry and gospel-tinted piano arrangements” (The Washington Post) to the Beatles’ biggest hits. Joined by conductor Steven Reineke and the NSO Pops, Roberta will also share some of her own beloved songs. And to open the program, the NSO Pops will play a selection of hits by Gloria Estefan, Diana Ross, and more!
