The American Century Theater’s final production in the season will be Sophie Treadwell’s groundbreaking expressionistic masterpiece, Machinal. A young woman is crushed, dehumanized, and turned into a murderer by the relentless pressures of work, romance, and the expectations of society. The play is justly famous for its use of layered sound and dialogue.

There are 2:30 PM matinees on June 27, July 11,17,18, and July 24.
