About the Show
The 2006-2007 season at the American Century Theater is headed off by a rare revival of Barbara Garson’s legendary Viet Nam era satire MacBird!, in which a troubled and profane Lyndon Baines Johnson is cast as MacBeth. “What began as a counter-culture event, retains its humor while allowing some clearly disturbing perspective on repeating patterns in American politics,” says artistic director Jack Marshall.
