About the Show

Written by Dominique Montet, Monica Neagoy and Didier Rousselet and featuring a cast of 25, La Vagabonde is an original adaptation of Colette’s life and works (La Vagabonde, The Backstage of the Music-Hall). 1907 Montmartre comes alive with songs, live music, dances, pantomimes and “tableau vivants” of the turn-of-the-century Parisian music-hall. The show reimagines the scandals Colette provokes, plus the events taking place on the glittering stage, as well as in the raucous house and the squalid backstage.

Performed in English, with French songs.
