Duck Hunter Shoots Angel is a hilarious comedy about North and South, faith and doubt, regret and hope. The Early brothers, two inept Alabama duck hunters, accidentally shoot a creature that they are convinced is an angel. As they hide out in the swamp worrying about how this incident might affect the destination of their eternal souls, the tabloids descend on Alabama bidding for the story — but they’ve got to find the boys first.

The Weekly World and Globe dispatches their top reporter, who has a past in Alabama and isn’t interested in going back, to find the Early brothers and get the story. To succeed he’ll also have to contend with his soulless boss, a fussy photographer, a mysterious half-man/half-gator creature, a sharp-tongued teenager at the Gasmart, and his past.
