Don Quixote
Synetic once again merges its unique physical theater style with text in its season closer, Don Quixote, written by Resident Playwright Roland Reed whose The Master and Margarita was nominated for the 2011 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Resident Play. Lost in the mystical world of his books, Don Quixote abandons his home and reality to become a wandering knight. This touching comedy, inspired by the surrealistic paintings of Dali and Bosch, brings the wonder of Quixote’s dreaming mind to life and focuses a satirical lens on what it means to be normal.
