After The Flood

Rorschach Theatre presents the world premiere of Randy Baker’s After The Flood. Ethan Brooks, an academic and a skeptic, returns to South East Asia, where he grew up, to study the dying artform of Wayang Kulit, Malay Shadow Puppetry, and make his mark upon the academic world. Upon his arrival, questions begin to emerge concerning the disappearance of an old master of the form and his research becomes a very real serach for this puppeteer in the remote villages of Malaysia. The old master and his lingering fables become a part of Brooks story as he searches for the truth and begins to reconcile his own shadows.
