Horror Narrative Workshop

How do you tell spooky stories in the dark? (But…like on stage…and under some amount of dim-moody lighting…)

In this crash course through Horror genre, you will fight the monster that is the improvised narrative. Come and brave the darkness to walk into the daylight with the tools to craft terrifying tales rooted in joy.

Recommended for students who’ve completed improv fundamentals/beginner coursework.

Michael Rogers (he/him) is an actor, arts educator, director, improviser, writer, and producer of improv and theater year-round. On stage, he plays through a smile, veering into the abstract, the sincere, and the absurd. His work has been featured on stages across the country and labeled “evocative” by fancy-quilled pens.
