Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Mark-Brian Sonna Productions is offering an evening of romance, poetry and comedy. Beginning with Martim Codax’s romantic troubadours from the 1200s, the collection of plays present how we’ve loved, lusted and longed, and how we’ve refused to change. Some of the offerings include a randy piece from the Renaissance, a Benavente Brothers’ bittersweet comedy of unrequited love at the beginning of the 20th century, and Alejandro de la Costa’s present day farce of mistaken sexual orientations. Come laugh, cry, and love – your date and your love life will thank you for it.
In addition to the regular schedule, performances of Theatre of Love are arranged for:
Saturday, February 10 at 2:30 PM
Sunday, February 11 at 2:30 PM
Monday, February 12 at 8:00 PM
Tuesday, February 13 at 8:00 PM
